I'm an architect working with a big contracting company, genuinely debating if a masters degree is worth the time and cost.

Thinking about it to boost my salary prospects but a few people have told me firms here don't really pay more for it and experience matters more. Anyone here actually seen a real salary jump after completing a masters, or is it more useful for switching specializations?
