Should I hire a procurement manager for my small ID studio, could use feedback from studio owners/operators

Hi, this is a really useful forum. Hope to get some relevant feedback.

I'm the owner of a small ID studio for luxury residential and commercial projects. We currently manage all FF&E procurement ourselves and it honestly takes up a huge capacity. Has anyone outsourced this to a procurement company? Was it worth it financially? Should I hire a procurement manager for this.

Just wondering if there are other studio owners out there who might have some thoughts.

We outsourced procurement 18 months ago. It freed up significant capacity but you share the margin. We now do a hybrid, keep procurement for key statement pieces where the client relationship matters, outsource the volume items. Worth testing on one project first.
